Editorial Por Luis Molina:

Let’s not allow the fear of being deported paralyze us
Editorial by Luis Molina:
Everyone at some point in time has experienced some fear, but there are levels of fear that can be so damaging that they can paralyze us in our daily lives. Undoubtedly, one of them today is being deported. This is one of the great fears of thousands of people.
Today young dreamers are living in uncertainty and do not know what will happen in the coming months. No doubt many of them live with such fear that, over time, it can overtake them, something that would be seriously harmful to them, to the degree that their health can affect them.
However, life is full of opportunities. Just being alive, breathing, talking, going to a park, touching our loved ones; these are things that should make us happy. It is true that perhaps things do not improve on migratory issues, but we should not allow these things not to rob us of the joy of living a quiet and fearless life.
The reality is that no matter what happens, we must learn to appreciate the good things of daily life as mentioned above and focus on the present, since we cannot control the future.
It is true that many of these young people only know this country and it would be sad that they were to be expelled from here overnight, however, the world is full of millions of people and not all live in the United States and many of them are successful and happy people in their countries.
That should give us peace of mind and able to live each day without that fear of being expelled from the country, but rather do the best we can every day, continue to grow as better people every day, to have good relations with our neighbor since that will help us to be successful anywhere in the world where we may live tomorrow.
So, let’s not let fear keep us from living normal, happy lives. The immigration issue in this country is something that will always exist and will be difficult to change. What we can change is ourselves, always being good people and living quiet lives. Let things come to you in due time, but never let fear paralyze our lives.
