El verano llegó y es normal que todos queramos disfrutar, salir a calle a caminar, los niños pasear en bicicleta, jugar a la pelota, entre otras cosas. Sin embargo, el verano trae también riesgos para que más personas sean arrolladas por un vehículo.
Como padres, debemos de estar muy atentos dónde se divierten nuestros hijos y obviamente, la calle no es el mejor lugar para patear un balón o pasear en la bicicleta, puesto que es muy fácil que sean atropellados por un auto.
Hay campañas que lanzan organizaciones gubernamentales instando a cada niño a usar un casco protector para su cabeza si va montar su bicicleta, y eso es excelente, pero como padres no es recomendable dejarlos jugar en la calle, de modo que debemos de ser responsables de dónde se divierten nuestros hijos.
En este año 2017 son varias las personas que han muerto al tratar de cruzar las calles y una de esas avenidas es la calle 28. En muchos casos, las personas que han muerto atropelladas es porque no han usado el lugar correcto para cruzar dicha avenida. Muchas veces, para los conductores es difícil poder ver una persona de noche vestida con ropa oscura, y mucho menos, si el peatón se atraviesa a corta distancia del vehículo.
Las personas que son atropelladas por un vehículo al tratar de cruzar las calles son casos que vez tras vez miramos y donde muchas veces dichos accidentes son lamentables, puesto que en ocasiones los transeúntes pierden la vida.
Es de sumo interés que, mediante grandes campañas, el gobierno insta a los conductores a estar muy atentos al volante y a no distraerse mediante mensajes de texto, por la razón de que miles de personas mueren debido a eso.
Sin embargo, muchas veces no siempre se puede culpar a los conductores, ya que hay muchos factores que debemos de tener en cuenta. Por más que un conductor trate en último momento de querer parar el vehículo, a la hora de que una persona se le atraviese, es difícil y a veces imposible.

The summer has arrived and it is normal for everyone to want to enjoy it, go out for a walk, kids ride their bicycles, play ball, among other things. However, summer also brings risks for more people to be run over by a vehicle.
As parents, we must be very attentive to where our children have fun and, obviously, the street is not the best place to kick a ball or ride the bike, since it is very easy to get hit by a car.
There are campaigns launched by government organizations urging every child to wear a protective helmet for the head if riding their bike, and that is excellent, but as parents it is not advisable to let them play in the street, so we must be responsible for where our children are having fun.
In this 2017, several people have died trying to cross the streets and one of those avenues is 28th street. In many cases, people who have died by getting run over is because they have not used the right place to cross that avenue. Many times, for drivers it is difficult to see a person dressed in dark clothes at night, let alone if the pedestrian crosses at a short distance from the vehicle.
People who are run over by a vehicle when trying to cross the streets are cases that we see again and again. Many times, these accidents are unfortunate, since at times pedestrians lose their lives.
It is of great interest that, through large campaigns, the government urges drivers to be very vigilant behind the wheel and not distracted by texting messages, because thousands of people die because of that.
However, many times drivers cannot always be blamed, as there are many factors that we must keep in mind. No matter how hard a driver tries to stop the vehicle at the last moment, when a person gets in the way, it is difficult and sometimes impossible.
