De parte de todo el equipo de El Informador, queremos darle la bienvenida a Guillermo Cisneros, el nuevo director de la Cámara de Comercio Hispana del Oeste de Michigan, noticia que publicamos en nuestra edición de la semana pasada.
La Cámara de Comercio desempeña un papel importante en el desarrollo y crecimiento los negocios y es vital que la cámara aporte recursos y ayudas para el crecimiento de los negocios, en particular los de todos los miembros de la cámara. La comunidad empresarial hispanohablante sigue creciendo, y cuando la cámara se esfuerza por establecer conexiones con organismos públicos, corporativos, organizaciones sin fines de lucro, talleres para pequeñas empresas y miembros de la comunidad, el crecimiento es palpable.
La Cámara facilita el éxito de empresas latinas y otras empresas minoritarias y a sus comunidades a través de conexiones, representación, educación y acceso a capital.
Como medio de comunicación nos gustaría ver que la cámara de comercio HISPANA se diversificara más con los negocios latinos y que las reuniones que se llevan a cabo mensualmente y que estas no fueran solo en inglés, puesto que es Cámara de Comercio Hispana, sería ideal que tales reuniones fueran en español, y para que todos capten y entiendan lo que se dice y se habla, se pueden usar interpretes así los dueños de negocios que no hablan inglés podrán entender y beneficiarse. Si somos realistas y volteamos la moneda, ¿cómo se sentirían los miembros que solo hablan inglés que acuden a estas reuniones y las reuniones fueran totalmente en español? Quizás poco a poco no acudiría ni uno de ellos. Esto es algo en lo que la Cámara de Comercio Hispana debe pensar y tomar acción urgentemente.
Muchos negocios han mostrado tal inquietud e inconformidad por esa misma razón, y algunos expresan la idea de cancelar su membrecía porque no ven que se les tome en cuenta en muchos sentidos.
Entre los otros cambios que nos gustaría ver es que se ayude más a los pequeños negocios. Entendemos que ellos no tienen tanto dinero para aportar a la cámara, pero son los que más ayuda necesitan, por eso es importante que se tomen más en consideración a todos los negocios, entre ellos los pequeños.
Deseamos de corazón ver estos cambios y no dudamos que, detrás de la mesa directiva y el nuevo director, exista la capacidad de hacer estos cambios. Querer es poder. De nuevo, le damos la bienvenida al nuevo director a quien reiteramos nuestro apoyo en su nueva etapa y carrera.
The Role of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

On behalf of the entire El Informador team, we want to welcome Guillermo Cisneros, the new director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of West Michigan, news that we published in our edition last week.
The Chamber of Commerce plays an important role in the development and growth of businesses and it is vital that the chamber provide resources and aid for the growth of business, in particular those of all the members of the chamber. The Spanish-speaking business community continues to grow, and when the chamber strives to make connections with public, corporate, non-profit organizations, small business workshops and community members, growth is palpable.
The Chamber facilitates the success of Latino and other minority companies and their communities through connections, representation, education and access to capital.
As a means of communication, we would like to see the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce become more diversified with Latino businesses with meetings held monthly, and that these were not in English only, since it is the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, it would be ideal for such meetings to be in Spanish, and for everyone to understand what is said and covered, interpreters could be used so business owners who do not speak English can understand and benefit. If we are realistic and look at the other side of the coin, how would the English only speaking members who come to these meetings and the meetings were totally held in Spanish, feel? Perhaps slowly they would stop coming. This is something that the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce must think about and take action urgently.
Many businesses have shown such concern and discontent for the same reason, and some express the idea of canceling their membership because they do not see that in so many ways they are taken into account.
Among the other changes we would like to see is more help for small businesses. We understand that they do not have a lot of much money to contribute to the chamber, but they are the ones that need the most help, so it is important to have more consideration with all businesses, especially the small ones.
We look forward to seeing these changes and do not doubt that with the board and the new director there is the ability to make these changes. To want to is to be able. Once again, we welcome the new director to whom we reiterate our support in his new position and career.
