Poder conducir con la licencia de su país, junto con una traducción de esta, es, sin lugar a duda, ¡UN LOGRO MÁS!
Por tal razón, no entendemos el porqué hay algunas personas que, por sus comentarios, parece que no están contentas con la nueva ley, la cual ahora permite que los inmigrantes indocumentados puedan manejar con una licencia extranjera que sea válida y expedida por el gobierno de su país.
Por tal razón, queremos dejarles saber que ya son tres abogados y el Fiscal del condado de Kent que lo confirmaron en varias entrevistas que hemos llevado a cabo con ellos a fin de informarle a la comunidad. Si ya el fiscal lo confirmó, está más claro que al agua, la ley es la ley y si él lo confirmó, eso es y punto.
Así que si llega a escuchar por ahí que las licencias extranjeras son solo válidas para los que vienen de turistas, no lo crea, no sabemos con qué fin lo están diciendo tales personas o medios, pero la verdad es que, si tanto abogados como el fiscal ya lo corroboraron, podemos estar tranquilos de que es así.
Y con lo que se ha escuchado, cabe preguntarse: ¿estas personas que están diciendo que las licencias extranjeras no son válidas y que no se necesita una traducción, acaso sabrán más que los abogados y que el fiscal? ¡Claro que no!
De nuevo le repetimos que, si la máxima autoridad ya confirmó lo que hemos publicado, es porque es así.
Solo le pedimos que tenga mucho cuidado, y si mira este tipo de publicaciones que contradicen lo que ya nosotros corroboramos con la máxima autoridad, no preste atención, solo esté alerta y no deje que lo engañen.
¡Esta ley es una victoria!, y de parte de todo el equipo de El Informador, les reiteramos nuestro apoyo y solidaridad a todos nuestros lectores e inmigrantes, y seguimos luchando para que en un futuro regresen las licencias de Michigan a todos los que la perdieron en el pasado por no contar con sus documentos en regla para estar en el país.
Siempre lo hemos dicho: “la experiencia es buena, pero la innovación es mejor”.

For this reason, we would like to let you know that there are already three attorneys and the Kent County Prosecutor who confirmed this in several interviews we conducted with them to inform the community. If the prosecutor has already confirmed it, it is clearer than water, the law is the law and if he confirmed it, that’s it.
So if you hear that foreign licenses are only valid for those who come as tourists, do not believe it. We do not know why such people or media are saying such things, but the truth is, if both lawyers and the Kent County Attorney have already corroborated it, we can rest assured that it is so.
And with what has been heard, one might ask: are these people who are saying that foreign licenses are not valid and that a translation is not needed, will they know more than the lawyers and the prosecutor? Of course not!
Again we repeat that if the highest authority has already confirmed what we have published, it is because it is so.
We only ask that you be very careful, and if you look at these types of publications that contradict what we already corroborated with the highest authority, do not pay attention, just be alert and do not let them deceive you.
